Privacy & Messaging Policy
This policy explains what information Magic Year Photography collects, how we use text and email to reach you, and how you stay in control of your consent. Last updated August 2026.
By submitting your name and phone number through any Magic Year Photography form — including the “Schedule Quick Call” request, the Commitment booking form, or any contact field — you expressly opt in to receive SMS text messages and email communications from Magic Year Photography regarding your inquiry, booking, and session.
Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You acknowledge that providing your phone number constitutes prior express written consent to receive automated and non-automated text messages at that number.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. You may revoke consent at any time (see “Opt Out” below).
Text messages and emails from Magic Year Photography are limited to:
• Responses to your inquiry or quick-call request
• Booking confirmations, session reminders, and scheduling details
• Delivery of your gallery, proofs, and finalized images
• Occasional, relevant follow-ups about your session
We do not sell your information, and we do not send high-frequency marketing blasts.
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. We will immediately remove your number from our messaging list.
To opt out of email, reply to any email with “unsubscribe” in the subject or body, or click the unsubscribe link included in every message.
For help at any time, reply HELP to any text message, or email us directly. After opting out, you may still receive a final confirmation message.
Text messages are delivered through Twilio Inc., our messaging service provider. Magic Year Photography is solely responsible for the content of all messages and for honoring opt-out requests.
We comply with the Twilio A2P 10DLC messaging requirements, including the CTIA Messaging Principles and Practices and the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act).
When you submit a form, we store the details you provide — your name, email, phone number, high school, graduating year, and any message you include — so we can follow up with you and, where relevant, fulfill your booking.
We retain lead and booking records for as long as needed to provide our service and respond to your requests. We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

By accessing this website or submitting any form — including quick-call requests, booking commitments, ambassador applications, or contact inquiries — you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy & Messaging Policy above. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit your information.
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Magic Year Photography at the number you provided. You agree that you are the owner or authorized user of the device and number, and that you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.

We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages caused by your carrier, mobile provider, or messaging platform. We do not send messages outside the categories described in this policy.
Messaging is provided through Twilio Inc. We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Practices, and Twilio's A2P 10DLC requirements. We will not send content that is illegal, fraudulent, harassing, or prohibited by carrier guidelines.
Session availability, pricing, and deliverables are described on this site and confirmed at booking. A deposit may be required to reserve a date; deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Final galleries and images are delivered digitally per the package selected.
We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule a session due to weather, safety, or scheduling conflicts, with reasonable notice and rescheduling offered at no additional cost.
All photographs remain the copyright of Magic Year Photography. Clients receive personal-use rights to their delivered images; commercial use, resale, or alteration for resale requires written permission. We may use session images for portfolio, social, and marketing unless you opt out in writing.
Magic Year Photography is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or our messaging services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the related session.
We may update this policy and these terms at any time. Continued use of the site or our messaging after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
