Editorial Senior Photography for the Magic Year

Magic.Year.Photography. is an editorial-style senior photography studio serving high school students and their families across Issaquah, Renton, and the Greater Eastside. We specialize in cinematic, high-fashion portraiture that captures the transformative spirit of the senior year — the fleeting, electric chapter between who a student has been and who they are about to become. Every session is built around the individual: their story, their people, the places and objects that define them, and the outfits that feel most authentically theirs.

Our work is designed for high school juniors and seniors who want more than a standard yearbook photo, and for the parents who want to preserve this milestone with something lasting and beautiful. We offer three curated packages — Essential, Signature, and Ultimate — each with flexible add-ons, golden-hour scheduling, and a guided prep process that takes the guesswork out of styling, locations, and timing. A student-led Ambassador program extends the studio into local schools, rewarding students for sharing their experience with classmates and friends.

Magic.Year.Photography. is built and operated by Scott R. Baillie, a photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. Scott approaches every session as an editorial assignment — finding the real, unguarded moments and framing them with the polish and intention of a magazine spread. The studio also publishes free guides for families preparing for senior photos, covering everything from outfit selection to choosing the right photographer for your student.
